As a leader in mobile marketing, Hotmob uses our proprietary technology to offers advertising solutions to our clients, which includes working with advertisers to deliver their advertising campaigns across our network of mobile publishers and application (“App”) developers (our “Platform”).
Personally Identifiable Information
Hotmob does not collect any personally identifiable information (“PII”) from users.
Personally-Identifiable Information (“PII”) means information about a specific individual including name, address, telephone number, and email address – when used to identify a particular individual. When we refer to Non-PII, we mean datum that does not necessarily identify a particular individual, which include anonymous identifiers associated with your mobile device, does not identify you personally, and may come from such sources like your mobile web browser, or the Apps that you use.
Information Collection and Use
Hotmob collects Non-PII from across our Platform and from third parties who contractually prohibited from including PII within the data they license to us. We adopt vary technologies to collect this data, including “cookies”.
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a consumer’s web browser for record-keeping purposes. We use a persistent cookie to assist us with the collection and use of anonymous browsing data. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” file. But remember, rejecting cookies may affect the way your favorite sites behave.We do not link the information we store in our cookie to any personally identifiable information you may submit while on a site.
With our technology, we perform a variety of tasks, such as improving the relevance of the ads, identifying possible relationships among different browsers and devices, limiting the number of times a specific advertisement is presented to the same mobile device (frequency capping), providing an advertisement to only certain types of mobile devices, or providing a report to a client on the number of its advertisements that were clicked.
Hotmob may share non-personally identifiable information with our affiliates, third party partners, agents and other companied with whom we conduct business, and as otherwise described in this policy to improve advertisement targeting, make and create offers, provide reporting to advertisers and clients, and to improve our systems and products. Additionally, there may be times where we will need to disclose information to protect our system or our rights or to ensure your safety or the safety of others. We may also transfer all or some of the data discussed in this policy, in connection with a corporate merger, acquisition, partial or total sale of assets, bankruptcy, or any other corporate change.
Hotmob takes steps to protect the security of information that we collect. By using reasonable security measures designed to ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of consumer data, and to protect against unauthorized access to, and unauthorized use or disclosure of such data. While Hotmob cannot guarantee that these measures can stop all threats, we believe they provide reasonable protection.
If you choose to opt-out of Hotmob’s services, you can easily deny, or opt out of, cookies by manually delete your cookies by following the instructions contained in the “Help” section of your browser. Hotmob’s opt-out is effective for this browser on this computer, and may not work if your browser is set to block third-party cookies. If you delete your cookies after opting-out, you will have to opt-out again. If you use a different browser or computer, you will need to opt out again on that browser or computer. The Hotmob opt-out cookie is set to remain effective for at least five years.
