Background / Objective:
Warner Bros’ 2016 superhero movie Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was aimed to slash a big share from international box offices, particularly from Japanese market where manga (comic), anime and superhero is predominant.
Japanese version of the movie trailer was specifically showcased through Eigaland, the largest movie community and mobile app that is dedicated for Japanese market. With an extensive reach to more than 50,000 unique users, the movie was highly targeted to superhero movie die-hard fans and grab their interests.
Highlights of the trailer was presented in an Instant Video Pop Up format, which the video was pre-rolled with muted audio and then automatically converted into full screen mode. Users can flip their devices into landscape for a better overview and switch on the audio to enjoy full entertainment.
