Hotmob Partners with Green Peace to firstly launch Mobile Donation Campaign
Hotmob Ltd, the pioneer in mobile marketing, is pleased to announce that the Company has partnered with Greenpeace, a global organisation that focuses
on protecting our planet's biodiversity and environment, to roll out fund donation campaign through mobile technologies. The campaign is exclusively
launched through 3 Hong Kong, the mobile operation arm of Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings Limited. This partnership enables customers
to make charitable contributions with their mobile phones in a way that is convenient, secure and innovative.
Greenpeace is a global
organization that stands for positive change through action to defend the natural world and promote peace. The organization has 2.8 million donors
all over the world, with presence in 40 countries. To let new donors to support Greenpeace’s activities conveniently, the organization and
Hotmob roll out mobile donation campaign, enables supporters to make charitable contribute through SMS push and mobile WAP Portal anytime everywhere.
From now till January 2010, 3 Hong Kong subscribers can simply send a blank SMS to short code 508509 and make a $20 donation. They can also logon to
“Green Peace” under the “Lifestyle” section of 3 Hong Kong’s WAP Portal “Planet 3”, and opt for donation
amount of $20, $50 or $100. The donation, to be automatically charged to their mobile phone bills, will go to Greenpeace for the stop of climate
change, protecting the forest, safeguarding food safety and working against toxic chemicals pollution.
